We provide support tailored to each stage of development, from consultations at the concept stage through prototypes, 3D printing, pre-production specifications, and final checks of product pages.

Product Concept and Specifications
We review the intended users and use cases, differences from existing products, and development constraints, then assess whether the product concept and specifications are aligned.
Rather than adding every possible feature, we clarify the value the product offers and who it is for.
Review of Physical and Japanese Keyboard Layouts
We review the case width, number of keys, key sizes, home-row position, finger assignments, and ease of transitioning from existing layouts.
For Japanese layouts, we assess the arrangement of keys such as Enter, Backspace, Henkan, Muhenkan, Kana, the spacebar, and the right-side symbol keys for both usability and compatibility.
Review of Keymaps and Layer Configurations
We review the layer configuration, including Layer 0 as well as layers for numbers, symbols, function keys, arrow keys, connection switching, and lighting controls.
Taking VIA, QMK, and other configuration methods into account, we assess how easy the setup is to understand and how much effort it takes to use.
Review of Keycaps, Legends, and Compatibility
We review keycap specifications.
For Japanese-layout keycaps, we suggest improvements that take into account kana legends, modifier-key labels, character size and placement, and manufacturing constraints.
Review of Prototypes and Pre-Production Specifications
We conduct reviews suited to each development stage, covering drawings, KLE layouts, renderings, 3D prints, prototypes, and pre-production samples.
Where possible, we identify issues with layouts, molds, legends, and labeling, as well as other concerns that would be difficult to address after mass production begins.
Review of Japanese-Market Labeling and Product Information
We review information needed for sales in Japan, including the product name and description, specifications, connection methods, included items, warranty, and technical conformity certification.
We also assess whether the product’s features are presented in an order and in language that Japanese users can readily understand.
The Advisory Process
The basic process is as follows:
1. Contact us via the consultation form
2. Share an overview of the product, its development status, and the areas you would like us to review
3. Additional discussion as needed
4. Proposal outlining the scope and timeline
5. Place an order and sign an NDA if needed
6. Review design materials, prototypes, product information, and other relevant materials
7. Provide feedback on issues, concerns, and possible improvements
We will work flexibly, as the process may vary depending on the company we work with.

Product Advisory Fees
Advisory fee: ¥330,000 (tax included) or from $2,200.00
We provide a custom quote based on the following factors:
- Scope of advisory services for the product
- Advisory period
- Whether and how the supervisor’s or GreenEchoes Studio’s name will be displayed
- Whether the name will appear on product pages or promotional materials
During the advisory period, we communicate by email and other means and, if needed, prepare proposal materials and other documents.
Use of the Advisory Credit
Prior approval is required before listing “GreenEchoes Studio” or “Ryosuke Kawamura” as the supervisor on product pages, packaging, press releases, crowdfunding pages, or similar materials.
We will decide whether and how the name may be used after reviewing the proposed scope, media, duration, and wording.
Even when we provide advisory services, GreenEchoes Studio does not guarantee all specifications ultimately adopted by the client, manufacturing quality, variations between individual units after mass production, firmware, sales methods, or related matters.
Wording that implies GreenEchoes Studio or Ryosuke Kawamura guarantees the entire product beyond the agreed scope of advisory services may not be used.
Relationship with Greenkeys
GreenEchoes Studio provides product advisory services to companies as a professional service.
This work is separate from Greenkeys’ reviews, news coverage, evaluations, comparisons, and editorial decisions.
Commissioning advisory services does not guarantee coverage on Greenkeys or a product review.
If Greenkeys features a product we have advised on, we will disclose that advisory relationship in the relevant article.

We do not guarantee product completion, sales, mass-production quality, regulatory compliance, non-infringement of third-party rights, or market reception.
