In 2022, I launched “Greenkeys,” a media outlet specializing in keyboards, and as its editor-in-chief, I handle planning, reporting, photography, testing, writing, and editing.

To date, we have reviewed over 100 keyboards and input devices, covering a wide range of products including mechanical keyboards, low-profile keyboards, split keyboards, trackballs, keycaps, and custom-built keyboards.

We don’t just present product specifications; we also conduct hands-on testing, compare the product with competitors, identify the target audience, outline key points to consider before purchasing, and explain the product’s significance in the market.

At new product launch events and trade shows, we conduct interviews with product managers and developers to convey to our readers the design intent and development background—details that are often difficult to grasp from publicly available information alone.

In August 2026, Greenkeys recorded 202,383 page views for the month. In addition to Japanese articles, some articles are also published in English.

AiR-WiFi Magazine | Reporting and Editing in the Telecommunications Field

In the telecommunications and mobile network sector, I serve as an external editor for AiR-WiFi Magazine, where I am involved in planning, reporting, writing, and editing.

We offer pocket Wi-Fi devices, WiMAX, home routers, international eSIMs, and business communication services. We create content that not only compares prices and specifications but also outlines usage conditions, important points to note in contracts, and real-world usage scenarios.

We also cover interviews with service providers, case studies of corporate implementations, and hands-on reviews of communication devices.

The experience I gained in the telecommunications field—specifically, comparing complex service offerings and organizing them in a way that allows readers to make informed decisions—has carried over into my current work in the keyboard and input device field, where I write reviews, conduct comparisons, and design information architecture.

Japan Layout Alliance | Cross-Industry Project

The Japan Layout Alliance (JLA) is a cross-industry project aimed at improving keycap compatibility for Japanese-layout keyboards.

As a founding member and executive director, Ryosuke Kawamura is working to address compatibility issues that commonly arise with Japanese-layout keyboards, such as the space bar length, stabilizer spacing, and the layout of the bottom row of keys.

We are engaging in discussions with manufacturers, brands, and retailers to foster an environment in Japan where users can reliably enjoy keycaps and Japanese-layout keyboards.

My strength lies in having three distinct perspectives: that of a content creator, a product tester, and someone who runs a media business.

Through our ongoing operation of Greenkeys, we’ve come to consider not only the specifications and user experience when looking at a product, but also the following points.

September 2026 | Trade Show Coverage and Systematization of Corporate Support Services

We covered the Tokyo Game Show 2026 on-site and conducted a comprehensive survey of booths featuring keyboards and input devices. In a series of articles, we’ve reported not only on product specifications and exhibition highlights but also on the companies’ development philosophies and their positioning in the Japanese market, based on interviews with company representatives.

March 2026 | Prototype Testing and On-Site Reporting

We got an early look at the prototype of the “Nape Pro,” jointly developed by Keychron and Gizmodo Japan. Afterward, we purchased the final product to re-evaluate its size, feel, and how it integrates with the keyboard.

February 2026 | JLA Expands Its Member Base

Copec Japan Co., Ltd. joined the Japan Layout Alliance (JLA)—an organization dedicated to improving compatibility for Japanese-layout keyboards—in February 2026. Through ongoing discussions with manufacturers and related businesses, the alliance is working to standardize specifications regarding spacebar length, stabilizer spacing, and keycap compatibility.

After graduating from college in 2012, I worked as a company employee before launching GreenEchoes Studio.

I began my career as a web writer in the telecommunications and mobile network sector, and later expanded my work to include managing in-house media outlets, providing support for corporate media, supervising articles, conducting service comparisons, conducting interviews, and writing hands-on reviews.

My interest in keyboards grew as I sought to optimize my typing environment for work, which led me to launch Greenkeys in 2022.

Currently, I am involved in the Japanese keyboard and input device market through various activities, including publishing specialized information via Greenkeys, overseeing product development for domestic and international brands, providing support for the Japanese market, covering trade shows and events, and managing the Japan Layout Alliance.

We place great importance on clearly communicating the value of our products and services to users by combining our experience in organizing and comparing information—gained in the telecommunications field—with our hands-on testing and market insights—accumulated in the keyboard industry—and our understanding of readers—gained through media operations.
