First DIY keyboard kit in the business, the Gravity36, will be available at Greenkeys on February 9

Another Langage: 日本語

On February 3, 2025, our business GreenEchoes Studio submitted a press release to PRTIMES announcing the launch of the Gravity36, the first DIY keyboard kit in our business, on February 9.

The regular price is 14,500 yen (including tax), but will be sold for 13,000 yen (including tax) as a commemorative price until February 23.

Note that this keyboard kit is a “DIY keyboard kit” that requires soldering to the microcontroller part.

By purchasing a set of “Soldering Option”, the product can be assembled with a single Phillips screwdriver.

Cherry MX standard key switches (36 keys) must be provided separately.

The “only 18 keys on each hand” is a rarity, and has already been picked up by various media outlets.

Gravity36 has a “layered structure” that allows key combinations to provide input equivalent to a full-size keyboard.

It takes some getting used to, but with only 36 keys in total, mastery of the system allows for “perfect touch typing”.

There are signs that custom keyboards are becoming popular worldwide, and it is my impression that the number of people interested in keyboards is gradually increasing in Japan as well.

Keyboard Market Tokyo 2025, Japan’s first keyboard exhibition and sales event, has attracted much attention, doubling the sales space and number of tickets sold compared to 2024.

Since there is no precedent for submitting press releases and selling in the self-made keyboard field, we are still exploring, but we hope that many gadget fans will be interested in our products.
