Experience and Areas of Support
Greenkeys | Running a Specialist Publication
Since launching Greenkeys, a specialist keyboard publication, in 2022, he has served as editor-in-chief, overseeing planning, reporting, photography, testing, writing, and editing.
He has reviewed more than 100 keyboards and input devices, covering a wide range of products, including mechanical and low-profile keyboards, split keyboards, trackballs, keycaps, and custom-built keyboards.
Beyond presenting product specifications, he shares hands-on testing, comparisons with competing products, potential users, points to consider before buying, and the product’s place in the market.
At new-product launches and trade shows, he interviews company representatives and developers to give readers insight into design intent and development backgrounds that may not be clear from public information alone.
Greenkeys recorded 202,383 monthly page views in August 2026. In addition to publishing in Japanese, it publishes some articles in English.
AiR-WiFi Magazine | Reporting and Editing in Telecommunications
In telecommunications and mobile connectivity, he works on planning, reporting, writing, and editing as an external editor for AiR-WiFi Magazine.
Its coverage includes pocket Wi-Fi, WiMAX, home routers, international eSIMs, and business connectivity services. The content goes beyond comparing prices and specifications to explain usage conditions, contractual considerations, and real-world use cases.
He also works on interviews with service providers, business implementation case studies, and hands-on reviews of connectivity devices.
His experience in telecommunications—comparing complex services and organizing information to help readers make informed decisions—also informs his reviews, comparisons, and information design in the keyboard and input-device sectors.
Japan Layout Alliance | An Industry-Wide Initiative
Japan Layout Alliance (JLA) is an industry-wide initiative working to improve keycap compatibility for Japanese-layout keyboards.
As a founding member and secretary-general, Ryosuke Kawamura identifies compatibility issues common to Japanese-layout keyboards, including spacebar length, stabilizer spacing, and bottom-row key configurations.
Through discussions with manufacturers, brands, and retailers, the initiative is working to make it easier for people in Japan to enjoy keycaps and Japanese-layout keyboards with confidence.
About Japan Layout Alliance (JLA)
What I Bring
My strength is that I bring three perspectives: that of a content creator, a product tester, and a media business operator.
Running Greenkeys over time has shaped the way I assess products. I look beyond specifications and feel to consider:
- Who is the product suited to?
- How does it differ from existing products?
- Are there aspects that may feel unfamiliar in the Japanese market?
- Which features should be communicated, and how?
- What information is missing for someone considering a purchase?
- Where might readers struggle to make a decision on a product page or in an article?
- What is needed to earn long-term support for a product?
As a result, I can advise not only on reviews and content creation, but also on product specifications, layouts, keycaps, localization, messaging, and how a product is presented for sale.
I also have extensive experience producing comparison articles and service explainers in telecommunications, and specialize in organizing complex information so readers and users can make informed decisions.

How Media Operations and Business Support Work Together
Greenkeys’ editorial work and GreenEchoes Studio’s business services are managed as separate functions.
GreenEchoes Studio handles contracts, estimates, and project management for business clients, while Greenkeys publishes news, reviews, comparisons, reporting, and market analysis that serve its readers.
When a company or brand provides a product, production fee, or supervision fee, the relationship is disclosed in the relevant article.
Business relationships and support work do not determine review ratings or editorial decisions at Greenkeys. Pre-publication checks cover facts such as product specifications, prices, release dates, and statements; they do not guarantee a positive assessment or any particular conclusion.
